Jewellery Heaven at Porta Brighton

A girl can never go wrong with a bit of jewellery in her life so when Brighton based boutique PORTA invited me to preview their new ss13 collections, I jumped at the chance.

 Designers Maggie Angus , Designosaur, Sugar Jones and Katze were all there showcasing new collections  and talking through inspirations. 
Jewellery to me is very subjective so as much as you can admire great pieces on other people, you will always have a preferred style for yourself. 

For me, there were 3 stand out pieces; the Sugar Jones cat and  a fish bowl necklace,( sooo cute), the Designousaur cherry wood ring ( to which I am now a proud owner) and the Katze statement necklace. Each one of these pieces were unique, quirky and unlikely to be worn by every Harry Dick and Tom, which is a complete reflection of Brighton's unapologetic eccentric style. 

As I went to leave, I came across a beautiful collection of vintage inspired rings, necklaces, and bracelets designed by Lovett and Co and fell in love with a gorgeous rose ring that I spent about half an hour trying on and lusting over.
PORTA is one of those stores you can find one off  accessories with a lot of character and unique designs, all at decent prices.
If you're ever in Brighton, it's definitely worth popping in and having a browse.
