OOTD: It's all about the Faux Leather Jacket
May 04, 2019
I don’t think I’ve ever had a wardrobe without some form of a
leather jacket but lately, I’m all about the faux leather. Back in the day, I
used to spend hundreds of pounds on leather jackets because I saw them as
investment buys but nowadays, I’m finding that a decent faux leather jacket can
do the same thing for half the price. Not only is it cruelty free and better
for the environment, I get to save some £££ in the process. I’ve had this faux
leather biker jacket for more than five years and it’s still going strong.
Featuring a lapel colour, shoulder tabs and silver fastenings, it’s one of the
most versatile jackets I own.

For this outfit, I went a bit biker chick as I matched jacket
with my new biker boots, but softened up the look with my
trusted lace skirt, patterned tights and printed t-shirt. Although it’s an
all-black outfit, the different fabrics and textures makes it work and stops it looking too dark. You can
never go wrong with the aviator sunglasses to finish off the look and as I
never go anywhere without them, they always come in handy. What do you think
about faux leather? Is it for you or do you prefer to invest in the real
thing?
