Birthday in Paris

Another
year, another birthday and boy was it a good one this year. I ALWAYS like to go
away around my birthday and this year, I spent it in Paris. I love Paris. I’ve
been a couple of times before and always seem to have different experiences
each time I go because there’s so much to do. This time I went for 30 hours ( Saturday
morning to Sunday night) so had a lot to squeeze in within that time.
Thankfully, we were blessed with good weather ended up doing a mini tour round the
city. We covered the Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, The Louvre, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Champs-Elysees and a few others. As the weather was so nice, I could get away with wearing my ASOS
beach dress and of course, my ‘birthday girl’ badge. My Porsche style aviator
sunglasses were the ultimate accessory for the day as were my trusted flatform
wedges (which I walked around in all day). The short but sweet time in Paris was truly
amazing, and it was great to be in the moment, be an unapologetic tourist and make
the most of my birthday during an Indian Summer. I
tend not to look forward to my birthday but this was a definitely a good one.
