Christmas party season is nearly upon which means a full month of work do's, social events, catching up with friends and family shindigs (not to mention one long hangover). Most of us will already know our Christmas plans so will soon be on the hunt for that perfect  party dress.

When I think of Christmas Partywear, I always imagine red and blacks, embellishments, sequins, velvets and anything sparkly. I feel like Christmas is one of the few times in the year where you can get away with wearing something more glitzy and glamorous without looking like you've gone OTT.

I've picked out a few of my favourite festive inspired dresses from a wide range of brands that are different prices. It's important to find a dress that suits your style as well as your figure, because even if a certain new shape or fabric is on trend, it doesn't mean it's going to work for you ( which in my case would be anything velvet or floaty)

My favourite dress from the selection would have  to be the vibrant blue Herve Leger  number which is determined to sculpt your body with the bandage fabric, while getting you in the Christmas spirit with the pacific blue sequins. Obviously, this is way out of my price range but a girl can dream. I've also put together what I'd wear with it which incorporates gold accessories and shoes along with red jewellery, lips and nails. Have you thought about your Christmas Party dress? What look would you go for?
