The Autumnal Transition- La Double-Breasted Blazer

Happy Friday! Just thought I'd do a quick outfit post of my ensemble today seeing as I'm fully embracing the new season. It's quite hard choosing what to wear during the Autumnal transition but layering up is probably the sensible thing to do, especially in the UK. I am the girl who probably owns about 100 blazers, so it's no surprise that my new Zara double breasted blazer happens to be one of my wardrobe essentials for A/W.
You can never go wrong with the classic military inspired blazer (with the gold button detail) as it's one of those style staples that will never go out out of fashion.The double-breasted version is incredibly versatile as you can throw it on and immediately create a different look be it a meeting for work, casual dinner or date.
For today's outfit, I wore my blazer with a pinstripe bodysuit and skinny jeans, matched with my ASOS loafers and Mulberry bag. One thing I'll say about dressing for the transitional weather is to always be prepared. Packing a pair of sunglasses and an umbrella simultaneously is a no brainer as you never know how quickly the weather can change. On my way to work this morning I got totally drenched in pouring rain only to walk home in beautiful bright sunshine. Have a nice weekend!
