It's all about the Green Ruffle Maxi Dress

It’s a wonderful thing when you discover the colour that works best for you and your skin tone and in my case, it’s green. Whenever I wear anything green, compliments tend to come my way so … well obviously, I’m going to wear more green right? As soon as I spotted this dress on Instagram, it had to be mine.  Maxi dresses are part of my must have staples for summer so when I found this green ruffle dress from Boohoo (via ASOS), it was a no-brainer. The tiered design is so pretty, along with its plunge V-neckline and spaghetti straps. I also love the crochet detailing above the waist, as it gives a flattering waist and bust silhouette. I’ve worn it about six times to all sorts of events including a wedding reception, night out, holiday and a posh brunch. It’s so versatile and classy, I feel like it will be the gift that keeps on giving. I did have to go a size up as the fit is snug, and need to rein in my love for pasta when wearing it. Unfortunately, these dresses are now sold out but there lots more out there with a similar style. What is your go-to colour? What works for you?
