It's all about the Jeans 'n' Tee Days

The heat may be on but sometimes a girl just needs a jeans and tee day. Dare I say it… I’m starting to get over the heatwave. Ok, I’ll rephrase. As much as I appreciate having the first proper summer since I can’t remember, I wouldn’t mind having a cool down day. By this I mean I wouldn’t mind the sun taking a nap for a day, so I can wear my favourite new pair of jeans. I don’t know how anyone can wear denim in this weather because I find it incredibly uncomfortable and suffocating. Thankfully, yesterday’s slightly grey skies allowed me to rock these new babies and take them out on the town. I usually find it hard to shop for jeans as my thighs are on the thicker side while my waist is comparatively smaller. Sizing tends to be an issue but thankfully, this high waisted pair from River Island saved the day. Because the fabric is made from soft stretch denim, I can fit in them with ease, especially round my thighs and bum. The high waist cut also means that I can rock more of my crop tops, like this H&M number. Happy Days!
