Another sunny day means that another one of my African designs can make its debut. I love the structure and simplicity of this off the shoulder dress which was made to measure in Nigeria last year. The length isn’t one I’d normally go for, but because it's so fitted to my shape, I get a flattering enough
waistline to allow my legs to be slightly swallowed up. Since I cut off all my
hair last year, I find myself gravitating to a lot more ‘off the shoulder’ styles. There’s
something liberating about my my neck and head being free of fabric and hair. The funny thing is I
wouldn’t have dreamed about revealing (let alone highlighting) this year ago. I guess the more comfortable you become with
the natural version of yourself, the more confident you are.
Hello. Thanks for visiting my blog. I started it in 2011 because I love all aspects of fashion which I like to interpret it in my own way to suit my style and body shape. Might be a bit of shopaholic though I've got better over the years, always picking up one thing or another to throw a cute outfit together. As people kept commenting on my clothes and kept asking , 'where did you buy that?', it seemed like the perfect blog title. I'm a cross between an investment buyer and a bargain hunter, mixing the two, with a passion for tailor made African print designs .In the last decade, the blog has expanded out into other interests including travel, beauty and general lifestyle.
